I was fortunate to have the best coaches in the nation guide me throughout my career, and further mold a lifestyle of faith in God and perseverance through any obstacle. Kellie Harper, Jackie Stiles, Brian Giorgis, and Jake Sullivan were all incredibly impactful coaches that I have had the honor to play for. Each coach taught me valuable lessons that were unique to each of their styles. I use the experience that my coaches had to form my own style of coaching that holds a great balance between intensity, compassion, discipline, and empathy.
A little walk through my career...
My youth trainer was former Iowa State athlete, Jake Sullivan, who showed me how to use basketball as a platform to plant seeds and further God's Kingdom. Jake is the founder of Kingdom Hoops, located in Des Moines, Iowa.
Through high school I was recruited heavily, receiving over 25 Division I offers. I played my freshman year at Missouri State under the leadership of Kellie (Jolly) Harper during my collegiate career at Missouri State. Coach Kellie was the starting point guard for Pat Summitt and is currently the head coach at the University of Tennessee.
Among the coaching staff at Missouri State was Jackie Stiles, who was the NCAA women's basketball all-time leading scorer record holder from 2001-2017, as well as Jennifer Sullivan who is currently the head coach at Florida Atlantic University.
I graduated with my Degree in International Business and MA in Integrated Marketing from Marist College in New York, where I played for one of the greatest basketball minds of all time, Brian Giorgis. I was the starting point guard under Coach Giorgis' realm.
